Our Story
Qwa-Qwa Radio is a vibrant and dynamic community radio station established in the year 2000 with a vision to communicate, inform and entertain residents of Maluti-A-Phofung. The radio station has since surprised everyone by growing so much over the years that it currently reaches 70% of the whole Free State province, the whole of Lesotho and parts of Kwazulu-Natal.
Our Mission
Our mission is to inform, entertain and uplift the people of Thabo Mofutsanyana District and all the surrounding municipalities by providing reliable news, quality programming and highly engaging interactive shows. We value freedom of expression, ethical conduct, honesty and in our civic responsibility we give all our listeners a voice and create positive change through their active participation in our programming.
Listenership
Qwa-Qwa Radio reaches 4 30 000 people all around Free State, Lesotho and Kwazulu-Natal; our audience is aged between 15 and 64 and has an average household income listed under the LSM 7-10 category of R6 000 to R25 000.
